Summary
Key Requirements
Examination Resources is seeking an IT Solutions Manager to serve as the primary interface between our firm and external IT vendors, ensuring that all technology services and products align with business
objectives, regulatory requirements, and data security standards. This role will oversee IT vendor
management, internal IT support, and AI implementation efforts, working closely with leadership to
drive digital transformation.
As we primarily contract with federal and state government agencies, maintaining compliance with
government security standards is critical. The ideal candidate will have experience working within
regulated environments and a strong understanding of data security, IT compliance, and vendor
management best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and IT vendors, ensuring service levels align with business needs.
- Coordinate IT support efforts between internal teams and vendors, managing issue resolution and escalations.
- Evaluate and advise on IT purchases and contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and long-term value.
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual agreements and hold vendors accountable for security, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee company-wide IT security and data privacy compliance efforts in collaboration with vendors and leadership.
- Manage AI and software integrations, ensuring they align with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Support digital transformation efforts, optimizing IT systems and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with leadership to assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.
- Ensure IT policies and procedures align with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Work with vendors to maintain cybersecurity best practices, including data encryption, access control, and activity monitoring.
- Assist with internal and external IT audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, state- level security policies).
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in IT vendor management, IT support, or IT operations
- Strong understanding of data security, compliance standards, and IT risk management
- Demonstrated experience supporting IT projects and initiatives
- Hands-on experience with software integration and AI implementation
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in federal/state government-regulated environments or highly compliant industries (finance, healthcare, etc.)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
- ITIL, PMP, or similar project management/IT service management certifications
- AI-related certifications
